Meet Dr. Bree

Expert care shaped by experience, both personally and professionally.

Hi, I am Dr. Breanna Aiello, but most people know me as Dr. Bree.

After years as a competitive cheerleader, I experienced firsthand how frustrating injuries can be and how important it is to have a clinician who understands both the physical and mental side of recovery.

I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy with more than seven years of orthopedic experience, advanced orthopedic residency training, and sports fellowship training. These immersive programs taught me how to solve more complex movement problems, identify why symptoms may be happening, and create individualized plans aimed at lasting progress rather than temporary relief.

As a former athlete, strength enthusiast, runner, and mom of three, I understand that meaningful movement looks different for everyone. Your goal might be returning to a race, working without neck pain, lifting your child comfortably, staying independent, or simply trusting your body again.

  • Residency and fellowship trained to manage complex orthopedic and movement problems

My goal is simple: to help you move with confidence so you can get back to living the life you want.

Our approach

Pain is often more than just the place it hurts.

Every evaluation is focused on identifying the root cause of your symptoms, understanding how your entire body moves, and uncovering the factors that may be contributing to your pain. Rather than simply chasing symptoms, we create a personalized plan designed to help you recover with confidence and reduce the likelihood of the problem returning.

Lasting results come from treating the whole person, not just the painful body part.

Frequently asked questions.

How do I know whether I need physical therapy or movement coaching?

You do not have to decide before reaching out. We will start by learning about your goals, symptoms, and location. If physical therapy is the right fit, we will discuss the best next step. If movement coaching better matches your goals, we can focus on strength, mobility, movement quality, and long term performance.

Do you offer virtual appointments?

Yes. Virtual physical therapy is available for clients located in California. Sessions are completed one on one through a secure video platform and include a comprehensive evaluation, personalized treatment plan, exercise guidance, and ongoing support.

Do you offer in person visits?

Yes. In person physical therapy services are available in the San Diego area. Availability may vary based on scheduling and location.

What can movement coaching help with?

Movement coaching is designed for adults who want to improve strength, mobility, movement quality, running performance, injury prevention, or healthy aging through individualized education and exercise guidance.

What types of concerns do you work with?

Common concerns include neck and back pain, running injuries, shoulder and knee pain, sports and strength training injuries, postpartum return to exercise, balance, and healthy aging. Your first visit will help determine whether your needs are a good fit for the practice.

What should I expect during my first visit?

We will discuss your goals, health history, movement patterns, and any symptoms you are experiencing. From there, we will create a personalized plan that fits your lifestyle and the activities you want to return to.

Do I need a referral?

A referral is not typically required to begin cash pay physical therapy in California. Certain medical situations or reimbursement requirements may still require coordination with another healthcare provider.

How much does treatment cost?

Pricing varies depending on the service that best fits your goals. Physical therapy and movement coaching each have their own rate. We will review your options and answer your questions during your free introductory phone call.

Do you accept insurance?

Rebuild Movement PT is a cash pay practice. This allows each visit to stay focused on your goals rather than insurance restrictions. Superbills may be provided for you to submit for possible out of network reimbursement.
